Social Innovation
I attended a very interesting lecture by Josephine Green, Senior Director of Trends and Strategy at Philips Design. It was about social innovation. According to Green, in todays quickly changing society, a technological innovation can only be succesfull when it is accompanied by social innovation. She puts a new perspective on the role of design and the designer in the 'Knowledge Age'. An interesting article can be found here.
